Hong Kong - Housing Typology

There are two main types of living quarters in Hong Kong, a flat and a house.

A flat is fairly standard as it’s an apartment.

A “house” is the term used for finding a place larger than a flat.  It may not be an individual house sitting on an individual piece of property.  Many houses are similar to townhouses or condos, where there are a lot of home units connected together, but you still have a garden area and maybe even a pool.
