Accueil is active worldwide and offers French speaking people a network of contacts, information and translation services. They also offer advice on the French IB School.
Houston Accueil est une association sans but lucratif de droit texan. Elle rassemble environ 260 familles francophones et est animée par une soixantaine de bénévoles.

Den Danske Klub
Formålet med Den Danske Klub er at skabe et forum for danskere, dansk-sindede og/eller dansk interesserede i Houston området. Primært gennem afslappede arrangementer og sammenkomster af såvel selskabelig som kulturel karakter.
Klubben har p.t. ca. 200 medlemmer som mødes til forskellige arrangementer igennem sæsonen som strækker sig fra August til Juni. Eksempler på klubbens aktiviteter er julefest, julegudstjeneste, fastelavn, midsommersfest, fodboldkampe, og specielle arrangementer omkring kulturelle begivenheder.
ENGLISH: The purpose of The Danish Club is to create a forum for Danes and others interested in Danish culture and issues in the Houston area, primarily through informal events and get-togethers, social as well as cultural. The Club currently counts about 200 members who meet at various events throughout the season which stretches from August to June. Examples of activities include Christmas Party, Christmas Church Service, Fastelavn (Danish Mardigras for kids), Midsummer Party, Soccer Matches, and Special Events centered around cultural happenings.

This group organises various activities throughout the year.  Australia and Waitangi Day celebrations occur every year as well as an ANZAC Commemorative Service at the Houston War Memorial at Bear Creek.

International Connections of Houston
Interesting networking association that meets monthly. Their mission is to connect, educate and empower members who have lived or are living an international experience. Special speakers are at every meeting and they arrange tours in and around Houston. A monthly newsletter is published and they encourage their members to join in activities, such as Book Clubs, Out to Lunch, Rock Climbing and more.

If you are looking for friendship and fun activities consider joining this very active english speaking group created by Lorna Ramsay few years ago to welcome her fellow compatriots. It has a monthly coffee morning meeting from which other activities get started b the attendees. Lorna Ramsay is now a realtor which means she is less hands on on the group, but it is still very active.
