What is your experience of moving abroad with teenagers?
Is it a good idea?
Is it suicidal?
Schooling is an issue?
Can anyone give me any good tips about choosing a boarding school in the uk which offers IB program?
many thanks
Patrizia

I would say LIVING with a teenager is suicidal.
My experience is mixed. Every child of mine has responded differently. My suggestion though, both at academic and personal level, if you have an option do not do it, unless the place you are moving to has a LOT of clear advantages for teenagers (which in many countris is not the case!)
Good luck, only few year to go before peace returns

Having moved around the world with 3 children, I think they benefit tremendously. They open their mind to the world, cultures, they learn languages - but my experience is that when reaching the teens, they prefer to be in one place, make friends and stay with them. I think stability is helpful in that 'unstable' period of their lives.
Anyone else have something to add!?
